It's easy to get started on CERTLocal.org. In only a few minutes, you and your teams can get connected and begin coordinating locally.
Simply enter your email address, select a password, agree to the terms of service, and you're on your way. You will be able to select any of our available plans, including our free member plan allowing you to join a few teams and get connected on CERTLocal.org.
Enter some basic information about yourself, including name, address, and preferred contact phone number. If you're a ham radio operator, enter your call sign at the bottom of the page to join Ham Central.
Determine how much or how little information you'd like to share with fellow members on CERTLocal.org. You can always come back and change it later. If you are a ham radio operator, don't forget to select your Ham Central privacy settings.
Join your local CERT team or create your own neighborhood team to connect with fellow CERT members. Once your team is created, invite fellow CERTs to join and customize your map with key points-of-interest in your community, such as hospitals and rally points. Your team map will highlight fellow team members and ham radio operators based on the information they choose to share.
Join in your team discussions or start a new one to organize and manage your CERT Team on CERTLocal. Topics can range from general discussion, to community help, to sharing resources, to so much more.
